Guild 12 bell Practice****CANCELLED****

I’m sorry to have to cancel the forthcoming 12 bell practice at Truro Cathedral (was due to be held on Friday 11th of November). This is due to our 8th bell gudgeon needing urgent repair work. Don’t fear though, Taylors have been called and repair works are due to start imminently. I remain completely determined to enable the cathedral bells to ring as a 12 and to make them available for all in Cornwall to ring on. We should be back to ringing all 12 again by early December and we will look forward to hosting another 12 bell practice in the New Year.

The 8th headstock has been all the way to Loughbrough, been mended and returned and thanks to the hard work of 3 of our ringers and a well known chap from Taylors, has been reinstalled and is tinging again.

It was, however, considered too late to reinstate the practice.
