The Truro Diocesan Guild of Ringers celebrates its 125th anniversary on Saturday October the 8th 2022!

125th Anniversary Celebrations

Saturday 8th October 2022, Truro Cathedral

10:30 – 12 noon Mini Ring, Displays, Ringing and Tower Tours

12 noon – 4 pm Celebratory Ringing

4 – 5pm Open Ringing

5pm Service of Celebration lead by Bishop Hugh and Canon Alan Bashforth

5:45 – 7pm Open Ringing

7 for 7:30pm Celebratory Meal in the cathedral restaurant, tickets £33/person available from treasurer@tdgr.org.uk

7 for 7:30pm Celebratory Meal in the Cathedral Restaurant, guest speaker: Chris Kippin. Menu selections –
Starters:
Prawn cocktail with granary bread
or
Chicken liver, orange, and tarragon pate
or
Butternut squash and sweet potato soup
Main course:
Roast Topside of Beef with roast potatoes, savoy cabbage, swede mash, roast carrots, cauliflower cheese, and stuffing
or
Mushroom, caramelised onion and blue cheese tart (V)
Dessert:
Apple and cinnamon crumble
or
Lemon posset and shortbread
Followed by Coffee
(A bar is available, and bottles of wine for the table can be purchased on the evening)

Purchasing Option 2: Purchase by post- please write to: TDGR Treasurer, The Grainstore, Sparnock Farm, Kea, Truro TR3 6EB. Enclosing your cheque plus names and menu choices of those attending.

With both electronic and cheque payments please advise on number of tickets required, names and menu selections. No actual tickets will be issued, but expect confirmation of payment.
