I was pleased to be at the Cathedral on the 29th, which provided a particularly fitting occasion to present our new President, Robert J. Perry, with his Badge of Office. Given Robert’s long-standing association with the Cathedral, it was especially appropriate that this presentation should take place there.

Robert was unfortunately unable to attend the Guild AGM in May, as he was committed to attending the 50th Anniversary Dinner of the St Thomas Society in Oxford. It was pleasing to note that our own Caroline and Chris Beckett were also in attendance at this significant event.
On behalf of the Guild, I extend my very best wishes to Robert for a successful and rewarding term of office. I look forward to working with him in the years ahead and am confident that he will serve the Guild with distinction.
