I am very sad to break news of the death of John Purdey who passed away at Treliske Hospital during the night of Wednesday 5th July. He was Tower Captain at Tywardreath and Vice Captain at St Stephen in Brannel for a number of years. We will miss his wonderful Call Change Peals he created to celebrate and remember special occasions at our Tower. I will share details of the funeral when I have them, his one funeral stipulation was for Bells to be rung.
