“It is with great sadness that I am contacting you to let you know that Mum passed away in the early hours of the morning of Tuesday 19th January as a result of Covid pneumonia. She had been very poorly for a number of weeks due to other health issues and this further battle proved one too many for her.
I know she appreciated very much that she had retained contact with the bell ringers she had rung with when she lived in Cornwall, and looked forward to her trips to Penzance for the annual dinner in November. She also enjoyed the virtual dinner that was held last November, getting excited about what food she would prepare and what drink she would have with her.”
