I am sad to announce that Preb James Vincent died on the 25th June. Jim was one of the great personalities of the Cornish ringing scene who had been curate at Camborne back in the 50s and later Vicar of Kenwyn. He was associated with a number of towers in Cornwall among them Redruth, Marhamchurch and Truro Cathedral.
He had served the Guild as General Secretary between 1961 and 1965, the last Clerical Secretary to sever the Guild.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
